Covid-19 vaccination awareness campaign
For the past few weeks we have been making badges related to Covid vaccination.
Just like the badges for flu vaccination, pink October or the fight against HIV… These Covid-19 badges are made available to the public in vaccination centers but are optional, everyone is free to take one or not.
Healthcare staff at the heart of the system
Many clinics, EMS, and hospitals are equipping their healthcare staff with a badge or sticker. Its educational purpose is to remind people of the importance of getting vaccinated* against COVID-19, because getting vaccinated protects not only yourself but also the most vulnerable people to whom you could transmit the disease.
As a reminder, vaccination against COVID-19 is recommended by all federal and cantonal health authorities for 3 reasons:
- Vaccination protects vulnerable people and reduces the number of serious cases and deaths.
- Vaccination reduces the number of hospitalizations and helps maintain the proper functioning of the healthcare system for everyone.
- Vaccination helps to combat the negative social and economic consequences of the pandemic.
